So now, beloved ones, stand firm and secure. Live your lives with an unshakable confidence. we know that we prosper and excel in every season by serving the Lord, because we are assured that our union with the Lord makes our labor productive with fruit that endures.
1 Corinthians 15:58
As the Easter holiday has passed what is left for us after we have gone through and remembered the journey Jesus took to the Cross? With holidays that come and go we celebrate the Gospel and are reminded of the foundations of our faith. My question is how do we carry this in our daily lives after the corporate celebration has ended?
As a believer the resurrected one lives within us by His spirit, we have been made new by the blood of Jesus. The empty tomb gives us hope knowing that there is freedom for us. Freedom from sin and death comes with a responsibility to live out our lives transformed walking in the victory. Our daily lives rooted in the Gospel not swayed by words of man or circumstances of life.
These are truths we already know I think Easter calls us back to the Lord and resets our thinking to live a life that is centered on Christ. Our confidence of this account brings assurance that our joining with the Lord in spreading the Gospel is not done in vain but produces fruit that is lasting.
So life after the resurrection. . . invites us into relationship with the Lord, deepens our capacity to love those around us also inviting them to know the resurrected one and calls us to live a christlike life. We get to remember what was done for us every single day as we live it out. Remain steadfast in your faith and let your hope be anchored in the empty tomb.
My Prayer for you
Father thank you for the cross, thank you for the blood that was shed for us so that we could live our lives free from sin and death. Thank you Lord for sending Jesus to pay the price bearing the sin of the world. Help us to be mindful of the gospel in our daily lives, that we our faith would remain steadfast as we grow in wisdom and knowledge becoming more and more like Christ. Lord, I just thank that we have been made complete in you and you don't ask for perfection but our devotion and trust in you. We believe in the resurrection of Jesus conquering sin and death raising from the dead fulfilling what you promised. Teach us how to walk in that victory and give us the courage to speak this truth and set the captives free. Thank you Lord for Easter and the time to gather corporately in remembrance of Jesus and his life leading to the cross. Thank you Father, Thank you Jesus. In your Holy and precious name
Amen.
